I am looking at buying a 93 SWB Toyota Landcruiser import, the 3.5 diesel manual, with about 125 000 km on the clock. Can you give me a brief rundown on any faults etc with this type of vehicle? Thank you.

The Landcruiser enjoys a very good reputation for reliability.

It's the sort of vehicle you would choose if you wanted to make use of its ruggedness. If you need to tow, travel down a metal road or do a bit of bush bashing then perfect, but around town it may be best described as a little course.

A good choice if it suits your needs.
