Does anyone know if I’m legally allowed to install a new seatbelt in my car myself? The drivers seatbelt. Or does it have to be someone qualified to do so?
If I can’t do it, any estimates on how much this should cost?
Any advice appreciated!

There is nothing stopping you from installing a seatbelt as long as it is fitted safely/correctly and it is the correct belt/type for the vehicle. The cost to have a belt fitted would be labour dependent with most seatbelts able to be replaced within an hour which you could estimate at $100 an hour.
