Dear advisor, my front brakes were serviced recently. But now whenever I drive off after starting there is an errrrkkk sound. It lasts for a few seconds, and does not reappear until I next start the car and drive off. May I ask what the issue could be? Thanks for your help.

It could be the new brake pads still wearing into the original discs if they were machined.
If you suspect something is wrong, then take the car back to be checked just to be sure.
