I bought new Honda Jazz in 2019, it has been serviced by Honda, this year they
said my front tyre is badly worn and have to be changed, it is only 2 years old
and I have driven 19,000km so far. They said because I did not check the tyre
pressure regularly,( I did check 3, 4 times a year though) does this justify ? I did
ask around to get professional opinions, and every one said it won't make it
this bad that I have to change it. I would like to have AA's opinion.

Hi there,
Causes of tyre wear has many possibilities and unfortunately no one will give you an expected life you should achieve from a set of tyres.
It is deemed normal for a tyre to lose between 1-3 psi a month which is why regular checks are important.

Honda says their Dunlop tyre has to be changed around 20,000km, it means
from average mileage about 2 years, is it normal practice that car company
put tyres which lasts only 2 years on a new car ?

Tyres are a consumable item and there really is nothing really to say how long a tyre should last as this is controlled by influences like vehicle type, tyre pressure, rotation, where and how you drive. If your front tyres were rotated, they might have lasted a bit longer, but you may have required all 4 tyres replaced at the same time.
