I own a 2007 Honda Civic and will need to change the tyres soon. It's currently running on Bridgestone Turanza but just wondering if you can recommend any tyres that would give a quieter ride if possible.

I am very reluctant to recommend another brand of tyre to be honest for two reasons. The first is tyre noise is very subjective and what one driver / passenger finds acceptable another party will find unacceptable.

Secondly the Civic has never been the quietist car on rough chip and you could make a change for little or no difference and you run the possible risk of making the noise worse.

If it helps my colleagues tell me the Firestone Firehawk TZ100 is a very good all-round tyre and by their own experience, very quiet on a mixture of road surfaces.
