hi Does a toyoya prius model keyless start qualify as an engine immobiliser for insurance purposes ( i am told that there is possible way to start these cars without the genuine remote ) ??

Hi there,
I'm not sure about this, the system could easily incorperate an immobiliser system. I guess this could depend on what the insurance company is willing to accept as a definition of immobiliser. It may pay to ask the manufacturer what they refer to it as.
