What are total running costs of a 5yr old 2 litre sedan with 45000km on the clock

Currently the AA's figure for this engine size is 63.1 cents per kilometre. This includes the fixed (interest on outlay, depreciation, insurance and registration etc) and general (maintenance, fuel etc) running costs.

The calculation is based on an average distance of 14,000 kilometres travelled per year.
