after cheking out a few diferent cars i settled on a wingroad aero sports 2ltr yr 204 sixty nine th klms becouse of the fuel economy .however i have found it is not very economic.our fuel tests come out at
between 9.5-10-5klm/litre the same as my subaru 4x4 .have spent 750 on tests cheking it out and am told its seems ok .we drive normaly. can you help please thanks pete

You don’t mention what sort of driving you undertake on a regular basis. If it is a mixture of around town and highway driving mixed with a few very short and cold runs, then I would say the consumption is pretty realistic for this model.

Our own fuel tests have repeatedly shown a smooth throttle operation along with keeping the tyre pressures set correctly to be key points in trying to improve fuel consumption.

On a long drive, the consumption could come down to around 8litre/100km, once again depending on how the car is driven and the load carried.
