We live in a place where the roads are narrow and windy. Several times a day I have to cross a no-passing line in order to get around parked cars on the approach to a blind corner. Sometimes for 30-50m as there are several cars parked in a row. My question is, are the cars allowed to park there? There are not any no-parking lines.

Hi there,
A vehicle must park according to the Road User rule found here in Part 6 Stopping and Parking: https://www.legislation.govt.nz/regulation/public/2004/0427/latest/DLM302188.html
