Petrol and diesel prices as at 20 September 2019

Some global market concerns following a drone attack on Saudi Arabia oil facilities saw a sharp 6 cent per litre (cpl) increase to all fuel prices on 17 September, although not all brands or service stations raised their prices straight way, if at all. After commodity prices eased, a 3cpl cut was observed a few days later. Significant price variation both between and within regions is making it hard to monitor what price changes have taken place, although margins at the ‘national’ price are at the low end of the range.
