This is a self-employed role where you will be operating under a licensee arrangement, you will see more detailed information in the pack we provide.

You need to have had your Full License for a minimum of 2 years. You will need to complete a Fit and Proper Check (DL20) and become (I) endorsed. You can complete an i-endorsement Course through the AA Driving School.

You will have to go through the process of the DL20 (Fit and Proper). The course takes 2 weeks in class. There is a pre-course student period of 4 weeks. For more information, please contact aadtcareers@aa.co.nz

You will have to arrange a payment for this course. This course is unit standard based however is not funded by student loan. You can find out more via the Recruitment Specialist. Please email aadtcareers@aa.co.nz

Driving Instructors have the opportunity to teach during the day, with experience you can then deliver Defensive Driving Courses (DDC).
