Practice Full Test

Booking information 

When you are ready to book, what’s next? Create a profile in the name of the person taking the lesson. To receive the AA Membership discounts the person taking the lesson must have a valid AA Membership of their own (not a parent / family member).

AA Members

Use your MyAA login username and password when logging in to make a booking.

Non Members

You can become an AA Member, then connect your Membership number on the sign up process to book lessons at the discounted price. Non Members can also create an account and book lessons without an AA Membership.

About the Practice Full Test​

This one hour full driver's licence practice session with a qualified AA Driving Instructor ​is comprised of four parts: ​

Briefing (5 min) ​

• Overview of what the practice test covers and how this drive assists with preparing to take the real full licence test

Test stage one (35 min) ​

• Speed zones ​up to 100km/h and a range of assessable tasks

Test stage two (10 min) ​

• Verbal hazard commentary to fine-tune your skills with the help ​of your driving instructor

Debrief (10 min) ​

• Student centred feedback
• How the practice test went, areas to work on, ​and recommendations of future lessons if required ​as you prepare for your full licence test
