AA Home Book a Job

  • Please call 09 927 2659 to notify AA Home Book a Job of the change to your booking.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule within 24hrs of your confirmed booking time (excluding weekends), AA Home Book a Job charge a call out fee. The reason for this fee is because our Representative won’t be able to find other work within that timeframe. We treat our Trades people well so that they treat you well.
  • Payment for all services aside from home inspections are due on the completion of the job and are expected immediately. For home inspection services, payment options and your invoice will be sent in the booking confirmation email. Payment must be received before you are able to view your report.
  • Please call 09 927 2659 and one of our friendly team will be happy to help. Our office hours are 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday, excluding Public Holidays.
  • Shortly after the job is completed you will receive a text message with a link to a website that will enable you to provide feedback of your on-site experience. This will only take a few seconds and helps us to maintain quality within our Representative network.

  • AA Home Book a Job have provided an estimated cost to complete the job type based on our experience and the information you have provided. Once the Representative arrives they will determine if the price needs to be adjusted and if it does will discuss this with you. Please note variations will be processed, and approved by you onsite.
  • The estimated price includes any parts that may be required for the task you have selected.
  • Our pricing includes an AA Home administration fee - there are no hidden fees, call out charges etc.
  • Adding more than one part will not necessarily mean the price is doubled. Seeing as our Representative is already at your house it is more efficient for them to install additional items at the same time.
  • AA Members, AA Insurance Home or Landlord Policy Holders, and AA Home Response and AA Home Response Plus subscribers receive up to 10% discount for the initial estimated callout price by entering their Membership, Subscription or Policy number. Please note there is no discount on any additional costs added and approved onsite, for example extra labour and any materials.
  • AA Home Book a Job provide a 12-month workmanship Warranty on all works carried out (excluding Drain Clearing).
  • Some parts provided during your job may have an independent manufacturer’s warranty. If you experience any issues after your job is completed, you can contact us at info@aahome.co.nz and we will manage the warranty process with you.
  • Payments should only be made via the secure payment link texted to you on completion of the works, or over the phone with an AA Home representative. For home inspection services, payment options and your invoice will be sent in the booking confirmation email. Payment must be received before you are able to view your report.
  • Within 24 hours following payment you will receive an email with your receipt which includes a GST number.  
  • For safety and convenience, AA Home Book a Job is cashless. For all services aside from home inspections, your payment is processed securely and easily on Visa, MasterCard or Debit Card via a link texted to you on completion of the works. Please note, payment for this service is due on the completion of the job and expected immediately. For home inspection services, payment options and your invoice will be sent in the booking confirmation email. Payment must be received before you are able to view your report. 
  • You will be required to provide AA Home Book a Job with two booking window preferences.
  • The Representative will arrive within the two-hour window that we confirm with you.
  • You will be notified once the Representative is on their way.
  • There is a minimum charge for all job bookings of one hour's labour. Please note that the estimated cost provided to you during your booking journey, will be the minimum amount payable.
  • Our representative will review the information you have provided when the booking was made and will inform you whether there will be any additional time required to complete the job. If you are still happy to continue with the job, you will be able to sign off the additional charges to enable the Tradesperson/Inspector to proceed.

  • Yes, once you have booked your first job, follow the prompts to let us know that you require additional jobs.
  • You can book within two hour booking windows commencing at 8.30am and ending at 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays and weekends).
  • AA Home Book a Job will endeavour to provide you with the same Representative if requested, however cannot guarantee they will be available during your preferred booking windows.
  • Yes. We will not proceed with any works unless someone over the age of 18 is present.
  • You will receive an email and SMS confirmation for one of the booking windows of your choice. If for some reason we can’t achieve one of your requested times we will be in touch to organise another time that suits you within one business day Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (excluding public holidays).
  • We are progressively increasing our coverage area. Please email us at info@aahome.co.nz with your postcode and we will contact you once we are servicing your area.
  • AA Home Book a Job provides our representatives with consistent workflow, systems and processes to help them manage and grow their business efficiently. This results in you receiving a high-quality service at a fair price.
  • Any feedback given to us on pricing is given to our representatives, allowing them to monitor the rates that are being charged in market.
  • We provide you with an estimate for the services you require prior to you finalising your booking to give you an idea of the price you will pay.
  • AA Home Book a Job ensure that we only select suitably qualified, licensed and insured Representatives to carry out works.
  • All Representatives must go through an AA Home induction workshop.
  • AA Home Book a Job’s state-of-the-art software prevents work from being given out to Representatives who don’t have their credential’s up to date.
  • You book your job online. Please note booking our Tradesperson/Inspector to come to your property is a chargeable event.
  • We schedule the job with the Representative.
  • We ensure the Representative turns up on time and does a great job.
  • You get back to doing what’s important to you.
