^{Terms and conditions*}

^{1.     Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as amended or modified from time to time.}

^{2.    The promotion is being run by the New Zealand Automobile Association (Incorporated) (AA) located at Level 5, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue, Auckland 1010 (the “Promoter”).}

^{4.    Promotion key details:} 

^{i.     Entry: AA Members (other than directors, employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and their associated companies) who complete RNZB The Nutcracker Competition entry form during the Promotional Period will be entered into the draw for a chance to win the Prize.} 

^{ii.     Promotion Period: This promotion starts at 7am Wednesday 6 August 2025 and ends at 11.59pm, Tuesday 4 November 2025.}

^{iii.     Prize: Win a RNZB The Nutcracker prize pack consisting of:} 

^{-     Flights to Auckland}

^{-     Accommodation in Auckland, including overnight parking}

^{-     Rental Car to use during stay}

^{-     Double pass to The Nutcracker, Auckland show of your choice}

^{5. Prize Redemption: The Promoter will contact the winner via email with details of the prize redemption process.} 

^{6. Winner Contact: If the Promoter, having made up to 3 attempts to contact the winner, is unable to do so 5 calendar days after the announcement date, then the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be drawn.} 

^{The Prize}

^{1.    If a winner is under the age of 18 on the date they are announced, their prize will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian.} 

^{2.    If a winner does not choose to accept a prize, the prize will be forfeited, and a further draw will be conducted from the remaining entries.} 

^{3.    The prize must be taken as offered and cannot, whether in whole or in part, be redeemed for cash, transferred or exchanged, except at the Promoter’s sole discretion. All other expenses associated with the prize is the responsibility of the winner.} 

^{4.    By accepting the prize, you agree to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable marketing activities relating to the prize including but not limited to being interviewed or photographed. The Promoter reserves the right to use your comments, image and name for advertising and publicity purposes in any media, including but not limited to national newspapers, magazines, radio, television and online, in perpetuity without compensation.} 

^{5.    In determining the prize winner, the Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.} 

^Privacy

^{By entering this promotion, you agree that the Promoter may use the personal information collected from you:} 

^{1.    To conduct this promotion, including determining and notifying the winners and disclosing that information to the prize suppliers and, as required, to regulatory authorities; and} 

^{2.    For future marketing purposes in accordance with our privacy policy which can be found at www.aa.co.nz/privacy} 

^{Promoter Conditions}

^{The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, and in its sole discretion to:} 

^{1.    request entrants to provide proof of identity and/or proof of valid entry;} 

^{2.    disqualify any entrant reasonably believed to have breached any of these conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper conduct or any conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion;} 

^{3.    cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion If this promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason;} 

^{4.    provide a winner with an alternative prize (or part of a prize), of greater or equal monetary value and/or specification if for any reason a prize becomes unavailable.} 

^{5.     take any action that may be available if for any reason, the Promoter is not able to conduct the promotion as planned, including due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, any technical difficulties or any other causes beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion.} 

^{To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter:} 

^{1. assumes no responsibility for:} 

^{i.     any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries;} 

^{ii.     any entries not received for any reason during the promotion period;} 

^{iii.     any variation in the value of a prize;} 

^{iv.     any tax liabilities that may arise from winning the prize;} 

^{v.     any prize that may be lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way after it leaves its possession;} 

^{vi.     any loss (including indirect and consequential loss) or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion including the supply of goods or services by any person to the prize winner(s), and where applicable to any persons accompanying the prize winner(s);} 

^{1.    excludes all warranties in relation to the quality, suitability or merchantability of a prize; and} 

^{1.    limits its liability, and that of its employees or agents, for breach of any rights a consumer may have to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.} 

^{Rental Car (Avis) Conditions}

• ^{Prize includes two days hire of an Intermediate SUV from any Avis location in New Zealand - to a maximum value of $850.}
• ^{Avis’ normal Rental Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings (these terms include the Renter Requirements and Pre-Authorisation Amount provisions);}
• ^{In order to receive the two-day hire of an Intermediate SUV from Avis, the prize winner (or the person that accompanies them) must be at least 21 years of age and be the nominated driver to claim this element of the prize.}
• ^{Booking and redemption of prize is subject to vehicle availability;}
• ^{Prize is not redeemable for cash and is not transferable.}
• ^{Bookings must be made at least 7 days prior to travel and cannot be amended at the rental location at time of collection.} 
• ^{Car hire prize includes the daily base rate and all applicable location surcharges.}
• ^{Car hire prize includes Avis Excess Reduction Coverage.}
• ^{Car hire prize cannot be applied to the payment of fuel charges, infringement notices and fines, electric charging charges, late return fees, costs for damaged vehicles or damage excess which is exceeds or is excluded from the excess reduction coverage.}
• ^{At commencement of rental, Renter must present a valid credit or debit card. The name on the card must be the same as on the Rental Agreement. The Renter must be present when collecting the vehicle and the full name on the reservation must match the name of the person collecting the vehicle as shown on their Driver Licence. The Renter and Additional Drivers must hold a full, current and valid Driver Licence which must be appropriate to the rental vehicle. Learners, provisional, probationary or restricted licences are not accepted.} 
• ^{Prize must be redeemed for travel within 12 months.}

^{Royal New Zealand Ballet conditions}

^Tickets

^{In the event that the Royal New Zealand Ballet is unable to provide performance tickets as part of a prize package due to the cancellation of the relevant performance, no alternative will be given.}

^{Performance tickets will be issued by the Royal New Zealand Ballet as physical tickets, in the name of the prize winner.}

^{Tickets will be available for collection from the RNZB ticketing desk at the Aotea Centre on the day of the chosen performance, from one hour before the performance start time.}

^{The prize winner will provide current email and mobile telephone contact information to the Royal New Zealand Ballet, for the purpose of receiving any pre-performance communications, including travel confirmations and booking references for air travel.}

^{Should the prize winner wish to purchase tickets in addition to those included in the prize, for example, for accompanying children, they must do so through the Royal New Zealand Ballet, at the time of confirming their choice of performance date. Additional tickets will be at full price.}

^{Air travel}

^{The prize winner will, if based outside Auckland, receive return air travel for up to two travellers, via Air New Zealand, from their nearest airport to Auckland and back.}

^{Flight bookings and travel will be subject to Air New Zealand’s usual terms and conditions.}

^{Travel will be arranged and paid for by the Royal New Zealand Ballet, in consultation with the prize winner, as part of the prize redemption process.}

^{Travel will include provision for one checked bag.}

^{Should the prize winner subsequently make any changes to their travel booking, this will be at their own expense.}
