AA Driving School – Fleet & Business: Terms and conditions

Driving Assessments

  1. AA Driving School reserves the right to modify assessment details, change pricing, or cancel a scheduled assessment at any time.
  2. Assessments are conducted using the participant's work vehicle or personal vehicle.
  3. The vehicle's Warrant of Fitness, Registration and Road User Charges (if applicable) must be valid and up-to-date on the day of the booking. Failure to meet these requirements will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full assessment fee.
  4. Participants must bring a current and valid physical driver’s licence (digital or photocopied versions are not accepted), any required corrective eyewear (as stated on the licence), and wear appropriate closed-toe footwear. Failure to meet these requirements will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full assessment fee.
  5. Cancellations or changes made within 3 working days prior to the scheduled time and date will incur the full cost of the assessment.
  6. If the participant arrives more than 15 minutes late to the agreed booking time, this will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full assessment fee
  7. If the participant fails to attend the booking, this will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full assessment fee.
  8. If the participant is believed to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, this will result in the assessment being cancelled and will incur a cancellation fee equal to the full assessment fee.
  9. AA Driving School reserves the right to terminate the assessment at any time if they deem the participant's behaviour or the driving conditions to be unsafe.
  10. If you require an assessment to be cancelled or rescheduled the participant can reach out directly to the Driving Instructor or can email us at  dsfb@aa.co.nz, and we will be in touch.
  11. AA Driving School is not liable for any damages to vehicles or property incurred by the participant during the assessment.
  12. AA Driving School may cancel an assessment at short notice due to extreme weather, unsafe road conditions, or other unforeseen events. In these situations, AA Driving School will work with you to reschedule the assessment at no cost.
  13. In the event of a cancellation initiated by AA Driving School, the assessment will be rescheduled or refunded.
  14. Payments for assessments are accepted via credit card or invoicing.

Courses

  1. AA Driving School reserves the right to modify course details, change pricing, or cancel a scheduled course at any time.
  2. The booking is not confirmed until the calendar invite is sent.
  3. AA Driving school will require confirmed participants' list at least a week prior to the course start date.
  4. Courses are conducted using the participant's work vehicle or personal vehicle.
  5. The vehicle's Warrant of Fitness, Registration and Road User Charges (if applicable) must be valid and up-to-date on the day of the booking. Failure to meet these requirements will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full course fee.
  6. Participants must arrive at the site atleast 15 minutes prior to the course start time.
  7. Participants must bring a current and valid physical driver’s licence (digital or photocopied versions are not accepted), any required corrective eyewear (as stated on the licence), and wear appropriate closed-toe footwear to the course. Failure to meet these requirements will be counted as a no-show and will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full course fee.
  8. If the participant fails to attend the course, this will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full course fee.
  9. Any changes or cancellations made within 3 working weeks of the scheduled course date will incur a fee equal to the full course fee.
  10. AA Driving School reserves the right to stop or terminate training at any time if the participant’s behaviour or environmental conditions are deemed unsafe (including weather, site conditions, or vehicle suitability).
  11. AA Driving School may reschedule courses at short notice due to severe weather or other unforeseen events. In these situations, AA Driving School will work with you to reschedule the assessment at no cost
  12. In the event of a course cancellation initiated by AA Driving School, the course will be rescheduled or refunded with no penalty.
  13. Payments for courses are accepted via credit card or invoicing
  14. AA Driving School is not liable for any damages to vehicles or property incurred by the participant during the course.
