Terms and conditions: Win one of 30 Petcube cameras when you take out a new AA Pet Insurance policy.

1.       Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as amended or modified from time to time.

2.       The promotion is being run by The New Zealand Automobile Association (Incorporated) located at Level 5, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue, Auckland 1040 (the “Promoter”).

4.       Promotion key details:

o  The Promoter is offering the chance to win one 30 Petcube cameras, with an RRP of NZD $119 (the “Prize”) for every new AA Pet Insurance policy taken out during the campaign period. 

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

-  "Qualifying Policy" means a new AA Pet Insurance policy issued during the Offer Period.

-  The "Offer Period" is between 12:00am (NZST) Monday 2nd June 2025 and 11:59pm (NZST) Friday 25th July 2025.

o   You will automatically be eligible to go into the draw to win a Petcube camera if you take out and have paid at least one month’s worth of premiums for a new Qualifying Pet Insurance Policy online or over the phone.

o   This offer applies to new customers of AA Pet Insurance policies entered during the promotional period.

o   Thirty (30) winners will be randomly drawn from the entries on Monday 25 August 2025.  

o   The offer is not transferrable or redeemable for cash.

o   This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, other than the 5% AA Member discount if you hold a valid and current AA Membership and the multi-pet discount.

o   This offer is not eligible for any AA Pet customer who has cancelled or lapsed their policy in the 12 months prior to the start of the Offer Period.

o   The policy must be in force for at least 30 days and not be in arrears.

o   Employees, and their immediate families, of the Promoter and their associated agencies and related companies are not eligible to participate. For this purpose, the Promoter includes The New Zealand Automobile Association Incorporated, any division, subsidiary, the insurer and administrator of the AA Pet Insurance policies, third party under applicable contract, or joint venture companies.

o   Promotion Period: This promotion starts at 12:00am (NZST) Monday 2nd June 2025 and ends at 11:59pm (NZST) Friday 25th July 2025.

5.       Offer Redemption:

            o   The Promoter will contact the winners via email with details of the prize redemption process

            o   If the Promoter, having made up to 3 attempts to contact the winner, is unable to do so 7 calendar days after the announcement date, then the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be decided.

            o   NZAA will endeavour to send your Prize by post within one month of receiving full payment of your first month of premiums for the Qualifying Policy and the Qualifying Policy has been in force for 30 days. NZAA will have no liability for any delay in meeting this time frame. 

Privacy

By entering this promotion you agree that the Promoter may use the personal information collected from you:

  • To conduct this promotion, including determining and notifying the winners and disclosing that information to the Prize suppliers and, as required, to regulatory authorities; and
  • For future marketing purposes in accordance with our privacy policy which can be found at www.aa.co.nz/privacy

Promoter Conditions

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, and in its sole discretion to:

  • request entrants to provide proof of identity and/or proof of valid entry;
  • disqualify any entrant reasonably believed to have breached any of these conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper conduct or any conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion;
  • cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion if this promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason;
  • provide a participant with an alternative gift (or part of the Prize), of greater or equal monetary value and/or specification if for any reason the Prize becomes unavailable.
  • take any action that may be available if for any reason, the Promoter is not able to conduct the promotion as planned, including due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, any technical difficulties or any other causes beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter:

1.       assumes no responsibility for:

o   any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of application;

o   any applications not received for any reason during the promotion period;

o   any variation in the value of the Prize;

o   any tax liabilities that may arise from receiving the Prize;

o   any Prize that may be lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way after it leaves its possession;

o   any loss (including indirect and consequential loss) or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion including the supply of goods or services by any person to the recipient of the Prize;

2.       excludes all warranties in relation to the quality, suitability or merchantability of the Prize; and

3.       limits its liability, and that of its employees or agents, for breach of any rights a consumer may have to the payment of the costs of having the Prize supplied again.
