Terms and Conditions: Receive a $50 Animates gift card when you take out a new AA Pet Insurance policy.

Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as amended or modified from time to time.
The promotion is being run by the New Zealand Automobile Association (AA) located at Level 5, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue, Auckland 1040 (the “Promoter”).

Promotion key details:

The Promoter is offering one $50 Animates gift card for every new AA Pet Insurance policy taken out during the campaign period.

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

"Qualifying Policy" means a new AA Pet Insurance policy issued during the Offer Period.
The "Offer Period" is between 12:00am (NZDT) Monday 30^th September 2024 and 11:59pm (NZDT) Sunday 13^th October 2024.
You will automatically be eligible to receive the $50 Animates gift card if you take out and pay for a new Qualifying Pet Insurance Policy online or over the phone.
This offer applies to new customers of AA Pet Insurance.
The offer is not transferrable or redeemable for cash.
This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, other than the 5% AA Member discount if you hold a valid and current AA Membership and the 5% multi-pet discount.
This offer is not eligible for any AA Pet customer who has cancelled or lapsed their policy in the 12 months prior to the start of the Offer Period.
One month’s worth of premiums must be paid, the policy must be in force for 30 days and not in arrears.
Employees, and their immediate families, of the Promoter and their associated agencies and related companies are not eligible to participate. For this purpose, the Promoter includes The New Zealand Automobile Association Incorporated, any division, subsidiary, the insurer and administrator of the AA Pet Insurance policies, third party under applicable contract, or joint venture companies.
Promotion Period: This promotion starts at 12:00am (NZDT) Monday 30 September 2024 and ends at 11:59pm (NZDT) Sunday 13^th October 2024.

Prize Redemption: NZAA will endeavour to send your gift card by post within one month of receiving full payment of your first month of premiums for the Qualifying Policy and the Qualifying Policy has been in force for 30 days. NZAA will have no liability for any delay in meeting this time frame.

By entering this promotion, you agree that the Promoter may use the personal information collected from you:

To conduct this promotion, including determining and notifying the winners and disclosing that information to the prize suppliers and, as required, to regulatory authorities; and
For future marketing purposes in accordance with our privacy policy which can be found at www.aa.co.nz/privacy

Promoter Conditions

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, and in its sole discretion to:

request entrants to provide proof of identity and/or proof of valid entry;
disqualify any entrant reasonably believed to have breached any of these conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper conduct or any conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion;
cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion if this promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason;
provide a winner with an alternative prize (or part of a prize), of greater or equal monetary value and/or specification if for any reason a prize becomes unavailable.
take any action that may be available if for any reason, the Promoter is not able to conduct the promotion as planned, including due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, any technical difficulties or any other causes beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter:

any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries;
any entries not received for any reason during the promotion period;
any variation in the value of a prize;
any tax liabilities that may arise from winning the prize;
any prize that may be lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way after it leaves its possession;
any loss (including indirect and consequential loss) or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion including the supply of goods or services by any person to the prize winner(s), and where applicable to any persons accompanying the prize winner(s);

excludes all warranties in relation to the quality, suitability or merchantability of a prize; and
limits its liability, and that of its employees or agents, for breach of any rights a consumer may have to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.
