These terms apply to your access to, and use of, The New Zealand Automobile Association (Incorporated) (“AA”) website at www.aa.co.nz (“Website”). By accessing the Website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

Some AA products, services, promotions or memberships may have their own terms. If those terms are different, those specific terms will apply.

Using the Website

You may use the Website in accordance with these terms and all applicable laws. You must not attempt to interfere with its operation or security, introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code, or use the Website in a way that is unlawful, misleading or harmful to others.

The Website and all text, images, video, audio, software and other material (“Content”) is owned by or licensed to AA and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, download and print Content for your personal, non‑commercial use only. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or otherwise use any part of the Website for commercial purposes without AA’s prior written consent.

Accounts and security

You can use the Website to login to your MyAA account. If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account.  You must notify us if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

Privacy

Personal information collected through the Website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Statement, which explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information, and your rights of access and correction.

Third-party content and links

The Website may contain links to third‑party websites or content. Third-party websites have their own terms, privacy policies and security practices. You can access these at your own risk.

Availability and changes to the Website

While we take reasonable care, we do not guarantee that Content is accurate, complete or up to date. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure or error‑free. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Website at any time.

To the extent permitted by law, AA will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website, including loss caused by errors, interruptions or third‑party content. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
