Sleeping God Canyon

Hidden in deep forest within the rugged Coromandel Ranges, lies the Sleeping God Canyon. With more than 300 metres of vertical descent this canyon offers a thrill for those with a taste for adventure.

The only way to get there is with Canyonz, for a day of abseiling, water slides, jumping into dark pools and ziplining alongside sparkling waterfalls.

Canyonz tours combine some of New Zealand's most amazing locations, rich in both Māori and European history, and an experienced team guiding small groups into this remarkable canyon for an adventure of a lifetime.
