Castlepoint is a small township just 64km from Masterton. Castlepoint has a fossil-rich limestone reef, and features the stunning 162m high Castle Rock and lighthouse.

Castlepoint Beach offers safe swimming, diving, surfing and excellent fishing. A golf course and tennis court are only 5km away and the local shop is close by for emergency supplies, petrol, dining and takeaways.
