Everyone loves the heated swimming pool, and hot relaxation pool, which are kept at a wonderful temperature all year round.
For golfing fans there are 7 or 8 excellent courses to choose from within 30 minutes of The Reef. The nearest (only 1km away) is Mount Maunganui Golf Course, recognised as one of the finest championship courses in New Zealand.
The Reef is an ideal base for day trip touring: Tauranga 8min, Rotorua 50min, Whakatane 1hr, Taupo 2hrs.
2.5hrs to Auckland Airport, 1.5hrs to Hamilton Airport.
Choose from a great selection of cafs and restaurants nearby, order in, or shop at the supermarket or Good Food Shop and cook to your heart's content.
