Featuring spectacular views of the historic Mokoia Island, this historic property was a family home right until 2004 and is perfect for a serene and tranquil escape. Built more than 80 years ago, Peppers on the Point is a classic lodge offering luxury accommodation that includes nine spacious, luxuriously furnished suites with most featuring stunning lake views. There are also two private lake cottage suites along with the owner’s residence - The Lake Villa and a One Bedroom Lake Villa Apartment, both available on application. All rooms include an ensuite, underfloor heating, air conditioning, spa baths and showers with massage jets, TV, DVD & CD player, internet access, telephone, in-room safe, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary bathroom amenities. The extensive prime lakeside estate includes 2.8 hectare grounds leading down to the lake’s edge and private beach. Peppers on the Point also offers several reception rooms for you to enjoy, including a quiet reading room/library with computer, pool room, large entertaining rooms and several dining rooms. Without leaving the retreat’s surrounds you can indulge in a heavenly massage at our onsite spa, try fly fishing from our private beach, enjoy water sports and tennis, or even spend your day boating. Peppers on the Point’s dining room is also renowned for serving fabulous New Zealand cuisine accompanied by the finest New Zealand and international wines.
