Seaspray Motel

613 Thames Coast Rd, RD 5, Waiomu Bay, New Zealand, 3575 - View the map

The motel that's right on the beach. Explore the Coromandel - you can do it all from here in comfortable day trips. Coromandel town is only a 45-minute drive. An hour to Whitianga and not much more to Hahei and Hot Water Beach. We are happy to help you plan and book any activities you may be interested in. Relax and unwind at our absolute beachfront motel. Enjoy the beach, get out on the water or fish from the garden's edge. Go for a bushwalk, there's even a glow-worm cave. At the end of your day you can light the BBQ, relax in the garden or on your deck with a cold beer or wine and watch the sun sink into the sea.

Located a scenic 10-minute drive north of Thames on the coast road (SH25), Waiomu Bay is a small holiday village with its own boat ramp, sandy beach, reserve and children's playground. 5-minute drive to shop, restaurant and pub. Ours is a small complex - 6 units (4 x 1-bedroom, 1 x 2-bedroom and a studio unit). All units are fully furnished and totally equipped to give you a comfortable stay. Continental and cooked breakfasts, as well as real espresso coffee, are available. WiFi available. An easy 1.5-hour drive from Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga, makes this an ideal place for a break. A great spot for international tourists to begin or end your New Zealand holiday. All inspections welcome. Your hosts John and Katherine look forward to seeing you..
