Delightful fully-licensed all-day cafe with an outdoor garden. Overlooking the bustling Whangarei Town Basin where pleasure boats, fishing boats and yachts from all over the world are moored. Open 7 days from 8am-5pm.Fabulous food and delicious Chiasso coffee are served by friendly, welcoming staff. Zenbu WiFi hotspot available with free download vouchers. There are a huge range of cakes, slices and pastries with gluten-free options available. Blackboard specials change daily and can include soups, chowders, salads, seafood, curries, vegetarian dishes and more. Breakfasts run till 2.30pm and includes our signature specials, which regulars come back for again and again - eggs benedict, hash stack, creamy mushrooms with bacon on ciabatta and the vegetarian breakfast, a new winner. The lunch menu also includes vegetarian and gluten free options along with a fabulous range of delicious meals guaranteed to please and runs till 4pm.After an exciting Mokaba experience there are a wide range of excellent boutique shops, artisans and carftsmen, museums, parks, and a boardwalk which runs along the side of the Hatea River.
