And, at the Gardens Magic summer series, held at the Soundshell in Wellington’s Botanic Gardens, you can do it for free.
Pack a picnic and grab a spot on the grass to enjoy the dulcet tones of Kiwi music legends and new tunes from fresh talents on summer evenings from 6-25 January 2026.
As the sun goes down, the Botanic Gardens transform into a wonderland of lights, with colourful installations and displays that wind through trees and between flowerbeds.
