Hit the trails at Christchurch Adventure Park

TAP FOR MORE INFO:

Not only a mecca for mountain bike enthusiasts, Christchurch Adventure Park, on the outskirts of the city is home to New Zealand’s longest zipline.

Daredevils will delight at the range of routes to tackle descending down the Port Hills.

From tame beginner trails to expert-only tracks, Christchurch Adventure Park covers all the bases.

If two wheels aren’t your thing, the park’s zipline tours provide a spectacular way to experience the views over Christchurch City. With four separate ziplines – including New Zealand’s highest, at 150m above the valley, and longest – over one kilometre – you can fly above the treetops and watch the bikers below.

Christchurch Adventure Park also provides a number of walking trails that take you to the top of the hill, which are free to enjoy, as is the chairlift ride back to base.
