With the transport environment constantly changing, there are always opportunities to increase our understanding of current road safety issues.
Research applications
Researchers seeking sponsorship for a research proposal are welcome to contact the AA Research Foundation.
All sponsored research projects need strong support from implementing agencies, or evidence that the research could have a positive effect on public road safety by influencing policy or practice.
The Foundation requires that intellectual property rights paid for by the Foundation remain vested in the Foundation. In general the Foundation will publish or authorise publication of any research funded by it.
