Upcoming Price Changes
To support the continued delivery of high-quality driver training, AA Driving School lesson prices will be updated from 6 July 2026.
AA Members will continue to enjoy discounted lesson rates, as shown in the pricing table below.
All lessons and 5-lesson packages purchased before 6 July 2026 will be honoured at the current price. Purchases made on or after this date will be charged at the new rates. If a single lesson purchased before 6 July 2026 is cancelled after this date, the updated pricing will apply.
This change enables us to continue to deliver high-quality driver training from NZTA-qualified instructors in dual-control vehicles equipped with security cameras. It also reflects the increased costs associated with vehicles, fuel, and ongoing operational expenses.
Lesson packages and prices
For AA Members aged 74 years or older, we offer a free Senior Driver Coaching Session once every 2 years.
