Stuck for a present idea? You can send movie vouchers as a gift! 

Vouchers are valid for up to 12 months from the date of purchase at all EVENT Cinemas New Zealand, The Embassy in Wellington and Rialto Cinemas in Dunedin and Newmarket. All voucher pins must contain 4 digits. If your voucher pin is only showing three digits, add a 0 in front.

Make sure you take care when selecting your EVENT Cinema vouchers as all purchases are non-refundable.

 Get your tickets 

AA Members can purchase a minimum of two (2) and maximum of ten (10) tickets in one transaction with a limit of forty (40) tickets per calendar month. Tickets may be used separately, unless bought as a family pass. All eVouchers are valid for up to12 months from date of purchase. After this period the barcode becomes void and cannot be used. Movie eVouchers are only valid for use at EVENT Cinemas New Zealand, The Embassy or Rialto Cinemas – Newmarket and Dunedin. You can also purchase vouchers for the Academy Gold Cinema at The Colombo, Christchurch. Each eVoucher is valid for admission to a standard movie session as per the details listed on each voucher type. eSaver voucher types are not valid after 5.00pm Friday, Saturday and all day on public holidays. eMovie types may be used anytime. To redeem your eVoucher take a printed copy of the emailed eVoucher to the cinema box office. Or you can use the barcode and pin number to book your seats online at www.eventcinemas.co.nz.

Booking fees apply for pre-booking seats online. Surcharges apply to upgrade the cinema experience to IMAX, VMAX, 3D and Premium seating options and must be paid at the time of redeeming the eVoucher. 3D Glasses sold separately. Not valid for Gold Class, Boutique Cinemas, Day Bed seating, Embassy Theatre Platinum seating, movie marathons, group bookings, advance screenings, special events and experiences, film festivals, alternative content and select World Cinema.
