Meet the Legends of Bathurst

TAP FOR MORE INFO:

Last January, Hampton Downs celebrated all things Bathurst.

At the inaugural 2018 festival, spectators had the opportunity to meet Bathurst racing legends from over the decades. Now an annual event held over two days at Waikato’s Hampton Downs racetrack, this year's festival was bigger and better than ever.

The festival included displays of classic race cars, with emphasis, of course, on Ford and Holden, and other cars synonymous with the Bathurst 1000.

With a celebration of V8 muscle cars, exhibition laps, an invitational race and celebrity drivers from past and present, the Legends of Bathurst was a motorsport must-do.

The iconic course at Mount Panorama has been the proving ground for many Australasian drivers and cars, so the Legends of Bathurst provides the unique opportunity to experience them in New Zealand.
