Annual Conference

Each year the Association holds an Annual Conference in March to review the activities of the past year and help plan for the coming year's challenges.

Over 100 delegates representing the AA’s 18 Districts attend. People from transport organisations the AA works with are also invited to both listen in and contribute as keynote speakers.

The event is held in a different location within New Zealand each year, deliberately to broaden participants' knowledge of our regions which all have their own individual transport challenges.

While part of the conference reviews the AA's commercial activities, the focus is primarily on how the AA can continue to represent our Members' interests, particularly with regard to road safety issues. Experts working in different areas of transport are invited to share their experience and insights.

The conference is preceded by a meeting of the Association’s National Council and the Annual General Meeting
