AA District Council Annual General Meetings

AA District Council Annual General Meetings shall serve as the primary Annual General Meeting (‘AGM’) engagement point for Members.

The AGM of each District Council shall be in the month of November in each year, and at a time and place determined by the District Council. AGM details for each District Council will be displayed in the AA Centres, and listed on the District Council AGM page, when confirmed.

All personal AA Members, who have paid their annual subscription in full, are welcome to attend their local District Council AGM in person. Entry to the District Council’s AGM requires a valid AA Membership card to be shown.

Association Annual General Meeting

The 35th Annual General Meeting of The New Zealand Automobile Association (Incorporated) (the Association) will be held on 17 December 2026 in Wellington.

Only National Councillors (including the President) may attend and vote at the Association’s Annual General Meeting (‘Association AGM’), and they do so as delegates of their District Councils.

The Vice President, Board members, the CEO, the Association Secretary, and any AA employees invited by the President may attend an Association AGM and, if the President agrees, speak, but are not entitled to vote.

Other Members may submit questions at least five calendar days in advance of an Association AGM to the Association Secretary and, with the President’s permission, may attend an Association AGM to ask their submitted questions, but are not entitled to vote.

Attendance at an Association AGM by any other Member shall be at the discretion of the President. Any such Member attending shall not be entitled to speak or vote.
