Participation in this promotion by purchasing and paying for a new AA Life Life Cover or Funeral Cover policy (“Qualifying Policy”) using the promo code HELO0050 is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions (“Terms”).

Offer

• AA Life Services Limited ("AA Life") is offering one $50 Prezzy card ("Gift") to those participants who mention the promo code, take out and pay for a new Qualifying Policy online, over the phone, or in an AA Centre within 3 months of AA Membership registration date.
• For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
• "Qualifying Policy" means a new Funeral Cover or Life Cover insurance policy, as applicable, underwritten by Asteron Life, where the date Cover Starts being no earlier than the commencement of the Offer Period.
• "Offer Period" is within 3 months after the Person Insured's AA Membership registration date.

Offer – New Qualifying Policy

• Take out a new Qualifying Policy within the Offer Period and pay for the first month of premiums to qualify for the Offer.
• You must have paid for the first month of premiums for the Qualifying Policy in full in order to qualify for the Offer i.e. if premiums are paid on a fortnightly basis, two fortnightly payments must have been paid before the Gift(s) will be dispatched
• AA Life will endeavour to deliver your Gift by standard post within one month of receiving full payment of your first month of premiums for the Qualifying Policy. AA Life will have no liability for any delay in meeting this timeframe.
• The Qualifying Policy's premium must not be in arrears.

Eligibility Criteria

• You will not be eligible for the Offer or the Gift if:
  • You are renewing a policy (including renewing a Qualifying Policy).
  • You take a new Qualifying Policy out but then cancel it at any time prior to the Gift being dispatched to you or one month after the Offer Period.
  • You have an AA Life policy that is cancelled for any reason either within three months before or during the Offer Period and a new policy insuring the same Person Insured is purchased within the Offer Period
  • You do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
• By accepting the Gift, you will not be eligible for any other AA Life offer in conjunction with your purchase of the new Qualifying Policy, other than the following discount where applicable:
• The 5% AA Member discount (on all AA Life policies)
• the 20% discount when you take out Funeral Cover with a friend or family member within 48 hours of each other (applicable to Funeral Cover only)
• the 5% Multi-policy discount when you take out more than one AA Life policy
• Your application for a new Qualifying Policy with AA Life is subject to standard underwriting criteria.
• AA Life may refuse to provide the Offer to a customer who, in AA Life’s view, has acted fraudulently or not complied with these Terms and Conditions.
• This Promotion is open to New Zealand residents only. Employees, contractors, and their immediate families (including partners, siblings, grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren), of the following, are not eligible for the Promotion: AA Life Services Limited, The New Zealand Automobile Association ('NZAA') and subsidiaries of NZAA; NZAA District Councillors; any company with which the NZAA has a current joint venture arrangement; shareholders and suppliers of AA Life; including agencies, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and affiliated providers. 

Limitation of Liability

• AA Life,  its related companies and agencies associated with this Offer, will not be liable for any loss, claim, cost, expense, liability or injury (“Loss”) suffered by any person in any way associated with the Offer, except where such Loss cannot be excluded by law.

Other

• The Offer and/or the Gift is not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

• AA Life reserves the right to modify the terms of this Offer at its discretion and to extend, modify, postpone or cancel the Offer at any time.
• AA Life policies are underwritten by Asteron Life Limited. Policy cover with AA Life is subject to standard underwriting conditions and to policy terms and conditions. Please refer to the AA Life's Funeral Cover policy document or Life Cover policy document, as applicable, for full policy and benefit terms and conditions.
• AA Life’s decision in relation to the Offer is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The promoter of this Offer is AA Life Services Limited, with registered office at the Vero Centre, 48 Shortland Street, Auckland.
• These Terms and Conditions are governed and construed in accordance with New Zealand law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
