Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

• The promoter of the Offer is The New Zealand Automobile Association (Incorporated) (‘NZAA’) (‘Promoter’). The Promoter has its registered office at Level 5, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue, Auckland 1010.
• The Promoter is offering either:

  • One $100 Prezzy card if you take out a single Qualifying Cover; or

  • One $150 Prezzy card if you take out two or more Qualifying Covers,

    and use the promo code LIFE2026.  Qualifying Cover(s) must be taken out and paid for online, over the phone or in an AA Centre during the Offer Period.

• You are only eligible for one Prezzy Card during the Offer Period regardless of the number of covers you take out
• For the purposes of these Terms and Condition:
  • “Offer” means the $100 or $150 Prezzy Card.
  • “Qualifying Cover” means a new Life Cover, Income Protection Cover, Serious Illness Cover, Funeral Cover, Cancer Care Cover, or Serious Injury Cover on an AA Life Insurance policy underwritten by Asteron Life Limited taken out during the Offer Period.
  • “Offer Period” means 1 May – 30 June 2026.

• To be eligible for the Offer you must take out the required number of Qualifying Covers (one for the $100 Prezzy Card, two or more for the $150 Prezzy Card) with the promo code LIFE2026 in one application and pay for the first two months of premiums.  For example, if your premiums are paid on a fortnightly basis, four fortnightly premiums must have been paid before the Offer will be dispatched.  The Promoter will endeavour to send your Offer by post within one month of the eligibility criteria being fulfilled.  The Promoter is not liable for any delay in meeting this timeframe.

• Your policy must have been in force for at least 60 days, and not be in arrears during this period, in order to receive the Offer.

• You will not be eligible for the Offer if:

  • You are renewing a policy (including renewing a Qualifying Cover).
  • You take a new Qualifying Cover out but then cancel it at any time prior to the later of the Offer being dispatched to you or one month after the Offer Period.
  • You have an existing Life Cover, Income Protection Cover, Serious Illness Cover, Funeral Cover, Cancer Care Cover, or Serious Injury Cover underwritten by Asteron Life Limited that was cancelled for any reason up to three months before the Offer Period.
  • You have an existing Life Cover, Income Protection Cover, Serious Illness Cover, Funeral Cover, Cancer Care Cover, or Serious Injury Cover underwritten by Asteron Life Limited that was cancelled for any reason during the Offer Period.

• By accepting the Offer, you will not be eligible for any other offer in conjunction with your purchase of the new Qualifying Cover, other than the:

  • 5% AA Member discount (on all AA Life Insurance policies) if you hold a valid and current AA Membership.
  • The 20% Joint Funeral Cover discount. 

• Your application for a new Qualifying Cover with AA Life Insurance is subject to standard underwriting criteria.

• NZAA may, in its absolute discretion, refuse to provide the Offer to a customer who, in NZAA’s view, has acted fraudulently or not complied with these Terms and Conditions.

• This Offer is open to New Zealand residents only. Employees, contractors, and their immediate families (including partners, siblings, grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren), of the following, are not eligible for the Offer: NZAA and subsidiaries of NZAA; NZAA District Councillors; any company with which the NZAA has a current joint venture arrangement; or suppliers of NZAA; including agencies, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and affiliated providers.

• If delivery of a Prezzy card to an eligible customer fails and the Prezzy card is returned to NZAA, NZAA will retain the Prezzy card for a period of 6 calendar months from the date the Prezzy card is returned. If after 3 delivery attempts the customer is still unable to take the delivery of the Prezzy card, following the end of the six-month retention period, the customer will no longer be eligible for the Prezzy card under this Promotion.

• Delivery will only be made to New Zealand addresses.

NZAA, its related companies and agencies associated with this Offer, will not be liable for any loss, claim, cost, expense, liability or injury (“Loss”) suffered by any person in any way associated with the Offer, except where such Loss cannot be excluded by law.
