Terms & Conditions – 2 Months Free
You are eligible for this offer (an Eligible Person) if you:
a) are a new customer of AA Health Insurance (i.e. not an existing AA Health Insurance customer on 18 May 2026)
b) buy any AA Health Insurance policy, being either a Everyday and/or any Hospital policy (Eligible Policies), via the AA Health Insurance website (aahealth.co.nz), by calling 0800 758 758 (and selecting the relevant option), or through the AA Centre Network between 18 May 2026 and 31 July 2026 (or such later date as may be permitted by nib at its discretion.);
c) are 16 years of age or older or, if the Eligible Policy is for a person under 16 years, then the policyowner of that policy will be the Eligible Person.
This offer is not available to a new customer joining an existing AA Health Insurance policy.
For Eligible Policies where a monthly payment frequency is selected, the first month’s premium must be paid in full. The second and third months’ premiums will then be free per Eligible Person, provided the policy remains active (i.e. not cancelled or placed on hold).
For Eligible Policies where a weekly or fortnightly payment frequency is selected, the first four weeks’ premiums must be paid in full. Weeks five to twelve will then be free per Eligible Person, provided the policy remains active (i.e. not cancelled or placed on hold).
For Eligible Policies where a quarterly, half-yearly or annual payment frequency is selected, the first payment will be adjusted to include two months’ free premiums per Eligible Person, provided the policy remains active (i.e. not cancelled or placed on hold).
Where the Eligible Policy includes both Hospital cover and Everyday cover, the premium used to calculate the credit will be the total combined premium for both covers.
The credit on each Eligible Policy is based on the plan selected at sign-up. If the policy is changed and the premium amount varies within the first three months, the credit will be adjusted accordingly. If no premium change occurs within the first three months, the credit will be based on the original premium.
At the end of the two months’ free period, premiums will resume based on the selected payment frequency (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually).
The two months’ free offer will be applied as a credit to the policy. The credit is not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash.
Each policy is eligible for one promotional offer only. Where multiple campaign offers may apply, this offer can’t be used in conjunction with any other offers except for the 5% AA Member discount which is available if you provide a valid AA Membership number for you.
Reconciliation checks may also be undertaken to confirm the required premium payments have been received prior to applying the credit.
If any adjustments are made to the policy before the end of the first month that impact the premium paid status, the free premium period may be delayed, reduced, or cancelled.
