Domestic travel insurance

Cover for your NZ adventures

Great Kiwi adventures deserve insuring too. Whether you’re hitting the road with a caravan in tow or attending that family reunion, don’t forget to look at your cover options.

We’ve kept things simple, with two plans to choose from and you can apply to have your existing medical conditions covered on each.

The Domestic plan provides our highest level of protection with benefits included for rental vehicle insurance excess, flight cancellation fees and stolen or damaged baggage, where unexpected events could otherwise leave you out of pocket.  You can also personalise your cover with optional cover variations.

If you're on a tighter budget, the Domestic Cancellation plan provides protection against the loss of prepaid deposits and cancellation fees, as well as certain additional expenses whilst travelling.

Select the level of cancellation cover you need when purchasing your policy (cover chosen per person, max $1,500).

Cover options

The Domestic plan provides the highest limits and extended benefits, giving you the most protection for your New Zealand travels.

The Domestic Cancellation Plan provides protection against the loss of prepaid deposits and cancellation fees, as well as certain additional expenses whilst travelling.

If you travel within New Zealand multiple times a year and want to avoid the hassle of taking out a new policy each time, an Annual Multi-Trip policy could be a great option. This can be chosen alongside our Domestic plan.
