If you purchase your policy before you start your trip, it's protected from unforeseen cancellation and loss of deposits the moment your cover is confirmed. With our International Comprehensive, International Essentials, and Domestic Cancellation plans, you choose how much cancellation cover you want—so you only pay for what you need.
Accompanied children under 21 travelling with a parent or grandparent can be covered at no extra cost. You can also include one unrelated child per adult traveller. Just make sure you add them to your policy when you apply for cover.
Some recreational activities—like snorkelling and hot air ballooning—are automatically covered under our International Essentials, International Comprehensive and Domestic plans. If your activity isn’t included, you may be able to add cover. We have options available for motorbike riding greater than 250cc, snow sports, adventure activities and cruises. Unsure if your plans might change? Cancellation Plus Cover gives you flexibility to cancel and claim some money back on our International Comprehensive or Domestic plans.
Some existing medical conditions (subject to meeting criteria) are already covered by our policy. For other medical conditions, you can apply for cover at the same time you purchase your policy. An additional premium may apply.
You have 21 days to cancel your policy if you change your mind.
